Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt: Custody Fight Continues.
Nearly five years after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, their custody dispute remains ongoing; On May 24 Jolie, 45, filed a complaint opposing a judge’s recent tentative ruling to award Pitt, 57, more custody and time with the former couple’s five minor children: Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Knox and Vivienne, who turn 13 in July; Maddox, 19, is now an adult.
According to the Associated Press, Jolie claimed the judge “refused to hear the minor teenagers’ input as to their experiences, needs, or wishes as to their custody fate.” (Per California law, any child at least 14 years of age should be allowed to weigh in.) In response to the ruling, a Pitt source says the actor “has always wanted what is best for the kids and to spend time with them.” The pair were declared legally single in 2019 but have yet to finalize their divorce.
