Age is but a number — except to Ben Affleck. The 47-year-old actor, who’s been dating 32-year-old Bond Girl Ana de Armas since March, seems to be doing everything he can to look and act younger lately. On May 26, the famously salt-and-pepper star debuted darker hair and a beard to match. “He’s having a hard time dealing with the idea of approaching 50,” a source tells BIGGER STARS.
“He’s having a full-on midlife crisis. Even Jennifer [Garner, his ex] has picked up on it.” Besides the Just for Men dye job, the source says Ben has been getting regular spray tans, Botox injections, laser treatments on his face and fillers as well. He also ditched the “dad” clothes for a new trendier look. “His team has asked him to lose the frat-guy look for a more A-list style, but he just doesn’t care,” says a second source. Ben even got matching hearts necklaces with Ana! And when the two recently got locked out of his place, the former Batman actor showed he can still be spry by hopping the gate. “It’s all about acting cool in front of Ana,” says the source.
“When they first got together, having a young, gorgeous actress on his arm made him feel like a million dollars. But now that he’s fallen for Ana, he’s terrified she’ll go running off with some cooler, more age-appropriate actor.”
