PLASTIC SURGERY GONE WRONG? DEMI MOORE’S DRAMATIC NEW LOOK RAISES ALARMS.
Dressed in drapey black silk with Victorian-inspired statement earrings and flowy wide-legged pants, Demi Moore made a surprise appearance opening Fendi’s virtual couture show at Paris Fashion Week on Jan. 27. But it wasn’t the outfit that turned heads. “What did Demi do to her face?!” tweeted one fan, while another compared her extremely gaunt cheeks to a “Day of the Dead skull.”
While some blame Demi Moore’s dramatic look and shocking appearance on contoured make-up, others suspect she’s gone under the knife. “One surgery that can contribute to this hollowing of her cheeks is buccal fat removal, where a chunk of fat is removed from the inside of the cheek, causing the cheek and the face to look slimmer,” says Michigan plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn, who has not treated the 58-year-old actress. “She may have had injections of filler in her cheeks as well.” As a result, says an insider, “this once naturally gorgeous actress has become a plastic surgery curiosity. She has clearly gone too far.”
It’s no secret that she’s struggled with aging in the spot-light. “Gravity is going in some directions I’m not fond of,” the Strip-tease star admitted in 2019. “I can look in the mirror occasionally and say, ‘You’re lying! I don’t look like that.” But when she released her memoir, Inside Out, that same year, she vowed to embrace self-love “and no longer look for what’s wrong — just being accepting of everything.” Her loved ones fear she’s stopped taking her own advice. “She always tried to appear and act younger, but this is something different — she’s unrecognizable,” says the insider. “Her friends are worried that it’s a cry for help.”
