Soria) seek out the American dream in the everchanging Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. “I t’s a very relatable story about family, and about finding identity in America today,” says executive producer America Ferrera (Superstore, Ugly Betty). “ At the heart of it, there’s the very real and very relevant circumstances of gentrification and how neighborhoods are changing and at what cost—people’s cultures and way of life shifting and changing, and how we all play a part in that.”
