It would be the first televised interview the 35-year-old has given since he and his wife, Meghan, 38, were stripped of their royal titles. “Harry will discuss how the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death sent him spiraling,” reveals a source, “and how therapy allowed him to begin healing in earnest.”
While Prince William’s sworn never to speak of the tragedy again after the brothers gave a joint interview in 2017, Harry has no problem opening up. In January, he was reportedly paid $500K to speak at an investment summit sponsored by JPMorgan about coping with the loss. “The royals feel that Americans have an obsession with Diana and that Harry will be pandering to them,” says the source. “It would be seen as a betrayal, for sure.
